25 Years After Apartheid

Santa Fe College hosts a delegation of 16 visiting higher education officials representing every province in South Africa, who will discuss their country 25 years after the end of Apartheid.  In 1994, South Africa ended 45 years of instutionalized racial segregation by having free, fair, competitive elections open to all citizens.  What has South Africa achieved during this quarter century?  What challenges remain to be addressed?  Has the post Apartheid government delivered on its promise?  The panel discussion will be held Wednesday, October 16, 12:30-2 pm, in the Fine Arts Hall Lobby.
