Syllabus

The syllabus is a contract between the student and the professor. By remaining in the class, the student indicates that they agree to the terms and conditions in the syllabus. At the same time, the professor is bound by the syllabus and must abide by the terms and conditions within it. In the same way that you should never rent a house without reviewing the lease or take a loan from a bank without reviewing the contract, you should ALWAYS review the syllabus before choosing to remain in a class.
