Post a screenshot of the submission confirmation email or form in the discussion forum as evidence. You can select one of the publications below, or find a different publication. It can be print or online.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Things to consider<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Be sure to read the publication&#8217;s submission criteria which may address; format, word counts, subject matter, etc.<\/li><li>Some publications require more than one poem<\/li><li>Do not submit to more than one publication at a time. You must wait until a submission is rejected before sending it to another publication (Your poem does not need to be accepted to earn extra credit.)<\/li><li>Note publications rights; will the publication own exclusive rights? (They should pay you.) Or can you republish and reuse the poem?<\/li><li>Read the publication you are submitting to and be sure it is a good fit. If your poem is about social justice, it is best to submit to a publication that addresses social issues rather than a publication that focuses on nature, etc.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Keep track of how long it will take to learn if the poem has been accepted or rejected.<\/li><li>If your poem is published, be sure to get several print copies.<\/li><li><strong>If your poem is rejected, SHRUG IT OFF.<\/strong>&nbsp;Most submissions are rejected.
