Humanities Kelba: Paragraph Writing (A m.e.a.l. plan for your humanities  class)

In this third module, and second half of the analysis portion of the class, we will examine the different ways that art, film, religion, letter-writing and philosophy communicate shared ideas and experiences in unique social and cultural contexts. This module aims to challenge you to continue to practice both critical and interpretive practices in preparation for your final project.

Module Objectives
  • apply analytical frameworks to selected expressive artifacts
  • identify different methods and techniques used to communicate shared and unique experiences in the humanities
  • analyze a wide variety of creative mediums within the humanities to interpret the shared experiences of being human through time and across cultures
For Extra Credit:

For extra credit, attend any public lecture at the University or Florida, Santa Fe College, or another academic institution near you that relates to the humanities and has not already been included in this course. Submit a 100-200 word synopsis of the information delivered in the lecture along with a picture of yourself at the event.  If it is a Zoom event, post a screenshot of the Zoom meeting. If you are out of town, you can substitute any public lecture provided it is educational and relevant to the course.
